Silicone Mold

A complete product may be composed of parts with different materials at the same time. Therefore, in addition to plastic m olds and hardware molds, HingTung also produces silicone molds and silicone products for our customers.

The raw materials of Silicone mold can be divided into ordinary silicone and meteorological silicone according to performance. Silicone is characterized with high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, strong tear resistance and high simulation precision, environmental friendly performance, hence, silicone is more and more popular among people. HingTung design the most suitable mold for customers according to their requirements for various use of silicone products, and propose them the best combination of product parameters, including material selection, hardness selection and so on, in order to meet the requirements of our customers for both quality and cost control.

Ordinary silicone is also known as precipitated silicone, the color of this kind is mostly translucent, milky white, light yellow, gray, etc. We will do coloring treatment of silicone products according to customers' requirements. In terms of product hardness, we can provide 30°, 40°, 50°, 60°, 70° and other hardness products, commonly used hardness are between 40°~ 70°, material density is between 1.1~1.12g/cm³, the elongation of ordinary silicone is about 400%. For ordinary silicone, we usually recommend customers to use in mobile phone buttons, miscellaneous parts, conductive rubber and other low-grade silicone products.

Meteorological silicone is also known as pure silicone, the color is transparent. Likewise, we can process transparent products into different colors for our customers. For pure silicone, we provide the product hardness of 30°, 40°, 50°, 60°, 70°, 80°, etc., commonly used hardness for this kind are between 40°~ 60°, material density is between 1.1~1.12g/cm³, the elongation is between 600%~700%. Since this material has good transparency, strong tensile resistance and high cost, we will recommend customers to use it on high-grade products that requires high elasticity such as silicone tubes and protective sleeves.

The development of mold technology should be in order to adapt to the requirements of "short delivery time", "high precision", "good quality" and "low price" of mold products.
